I have used the stickers that came with the alarms. These were necessary to pass a final inspection for my pool a fast easy fix. Hopefully they done fall off because the alarm is very loud.
It just would have been much better to put a long lasting lithium AA instead of expensive and short lived button cells in them. Unfortunately I didnt see the conflicting statements. I ordered after reading in the product detail that it took 1 AA battery. Unit actually takes 3 button cell batteries, which is what the product "description" says. Other than that product is as described and works well.
Brought this alarm to keep my three year old from going out the front door without me hearing him.(I also have those plastic covers on the doorknobs, but he has mastered that). It was easy to install, and seems to be working great so far. He tried once to open door while I was in bathroom, the alarm went off, and he shut the door quick, fast and in a hurry.
Buying from Amazon is safe and dollar-wise, in my experience. When we wrote this fact to Amazon, they quickly made the replacement operation happen in just a few days. We bought alarms for each of our windows. All but two of them worked out of the box. Great work, Amazon.
I bought five of these for my new apt and I do recommed these to scare anyone who should get any of my windows or doors open. It makes a loud and scary noise but I do suggest getting a sturder double stick tape and not use the one that came with the alarm.
